Jupiter Play & Leisure celebrated being Product of the Year finalists at the SAPCA Awards 2026 with BoxUp: the innovative, free-to-use equipment lockers. A modular, solar-powered solution, the lockers transform public spaces into active play and sports environments at no cost to the end user.
BoxUp is designed to remove financial and accessibility barriers to sport and play, enabling users to borrow a wide range of equipment for up to 3 hours through its app. Completely free to use, the solution aims to promote physical, sporting and leisure activities to help the wider public discover their passions.
Smart technology is built into BoxUp, making it easy to control stations remotely. Each unit connects to a cloud-based dashboard and provides real-time usage insights, helping to tailor equipment choices to your community’s needs.
