Pro Landscaper Business Awards Shortlisted

Pro Landscaper Shortlisted; Design & Build Award

The Pro Landscaper Business Awards 2021 shortlist has been announced. 2021 saw a 90%+ increase in entries on last year, and the judges will spend time analysing the entries to come up with a winner in each of the 14 categories. Jupiter Play and Leisure are the only playground company to have been shortlisted for the Design & Build Award and we are incredibly excited.

The judges are looking for a company that provides a top-quality service plus a little something else that makes them stand out from the crowd. For our entry we had to provide answers and/or evidence for the following questions;

1. Approach to staff training & development

– Team success;

Last year we were over the moon when our very own Senior Designer and bespoke specialist won the Pro Landscaper’s 30 Under 30: The Next Generation initiative award. Rosie Mayer, 25, has been included in the class of 2020. The initiative, sponsored by landscape product suppliers Green-tech, aims to recognise, reward, and promote the rising stars in the UK’s landscaping industry.

We are hoping for similar success for the Design & Build Award and the results for this will be released on Friday 25 June 2021 at the East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf, London. You can now book your tickets to attend here.

2. Corporate social responsibility

3. Client retention and testimonials

4. Financial stability

5. Supplier relationships

6. Commitment to industry

7. Technology

8. Development plans & future goals

9. Final Statement;

2020 has been a challenging year for businesses owners globally. But at Jupiter Play we all drew closer together as a business and family unit to push through to achieve a record year of orders and a growth in turnover.

This could not have been done without a clear vision of how to navigate a complex year, or without a team that was loyal and supportive of the company, client, and the industry as a whole.

We achieved great things; setting up an informative CPD webinar series to connect people with each other and the industry; promoted staff; delivered huge complex build projects through a pandemic, and one of the wettest winters on record, to keep each other buoyant through the hard days by sharing supportive words of encouragement through our Positive Vibes initiative.

We are positive, connected and as client-focused as ever, delivering great things with such a small team. We continue to strive for meaningful change in our industry to ensure we are always putting our people and our communities first by delivering high quality every time.

This award would be a celebration of a united team who came together, stayed creative, worked hard to surpass client expectation, and conquered what will be one of the most challenging years of our lifetime.
