King Alfred School, Hampstead

King Alfred school is a progressive independent co-educational school originally sat within woodland and has developed into a community of individual buildings within a landscape setting.

The design concept was design for children between year 2 and 3, based around the idea of bringing the "village green" found at the centre of the school into the free space.

Jupiter created a dynamic and challenging play space providing a variety of play options, including fantasy and explorative play that encourage socialisation between pupils.

"The interaction between the units and the surrounding environment create an intrinsic character for the site. It's beautiful watching the children enjoy the play area." Headteacher
