“Working with Jupiter throughout this project was great, from the initially bespoke concept through to the final design. The quality of both bespoke and off the shelf products is brilliant and I love the aesthetic and organic forms.”

Snibston Country Park was undergoing a huge £3m regeneration scheme carried out by Leicestershire County Council. The aim of the project was to honour its mining heritage roots but also become more attractive for families to explore. There is now a cycleway, FHS play area, open space, picnic site woodland planting, and changing facilities. The play area was considered very important to help draw families to the Café and Visitor Centre and encourage repeat visits. The heritage trail will have information boards for users to discover the history of the site.
Jupiter Play worked alongside TEP to produce the design for the new playground. The concept behind the design was to honour the mining heritage at Snibston colliery.
