Milton Keynes were looking for a unique and innovative design that would create a landmark at the front of the boulevard, where the park is situated, improving the image of the surroundings as well as encouraging the community to be active and enjoy the outdoors more.

They were keen to move away from traditional pieces of play, preferring to have something on offer that would appeal to a wider age group as well as embrace the latest innovations in technology in play.
