East Lothian Council and the Friends of Cuthill Park provided Jupiter Play with a very clear vision they wished to see come to life. One of the main requirements was to provide a play area using natural materials to complement the environment. Jupiter designed a play space with separate play zones offering different elements of play and challenges to children of all ages and abilities whilst leaving space for seating, picnic areas and space for community events perfect for days out in the sun.
We are delighted that this park was also been recognised by the Nancy Ovens Awards. The nominating party gave the following statement:
This fabulous playground has been developed by the local community. It has a strong focus on natural surroundings, lots of natural materials, a brilliant playground, a viewing post for inspecting the smaller wildlife in the park, a telescope that overlooks the sea to Fife. Lots of green space and is a secure safe place for families to visit.
