Receiving a major revamp, the concept was to create a beautiful space in the centre of Winsford town that could be used by the whole community and breathe new life into the area.
Once inside the park, families can enjoy the new children’s playground. The play area offers children of all ages lots of fun play experiences. At the centre of this playground stands an FHS Varioset Freising multi-play unit and play ship for older children. For younger children, there are ladybird and cricket springers, a pendulum swing, climbing trunks and more.
With wildlife ponds, thoughtful planting and a naturalistic palette, it was important that the play area blends well with its natural surroundings. By using FHS Robinia, the playground embraces its surroundings, whilst offering hints of colour through the flags and springers.
