We are delighted to see another one of our bespoke adventure playgrounds open up to the public in Watford at the Harebreaks playground. Reaching over 15m tall it is the ultimate treehouse adventure featuring a high wobbly bridge, several climbing features and 2 spiral tube slides.
This carefully designed and constructed bespoke tower has been part of a collaboration with Southern Green Landscape Architects, Watford Council and Southern Landscapes and Construction. This collaboration has allowed all parties to input into the design and construction process to ensure the end client; Watford Council were delivered a play structure that far exceeded expectations.
The design and build group all visited the factory in FHS in Germany to finalise plans and ensure the installation went as smoothly as possible. With an installation, that took less than a fortnight, highlights that this process of collaboration enables great design and execution!
As you can see the opening of the playground was a great success and provides children a really challenging play environment that connects them with natural landscape and materials.
The Harebreaks is the first site installed out of two to be opened in Watford. The second site (Harwoods) will be a PiPA certified site and will be opened early Summer. With a grand multiplay unit accessible for wheelchair use, children across the whole UK will come to this inclusive destination site! Stay tuned…
